Pea Soup Swamp by Intergrativeone Pea Soup Swamp by Intergrativeone
The water was a funky, foamy seagreen colour. Sure there were gators around. At any rate the autumn leaves were beautiful. The woods are such a colourful pallette...

What a wierd area this was. Just driving down the road heading towards my eldest's son college town of Greenville North Carolina and tripped on this place! Since it was Eastern North Carolina I figured there had to be gators in those murky waters... had to be sulfur somewhere too considering the white, green water colour. Thanks for the coment.

We have seen the same thing from the same spot at the same time again... and such a totally different perspective.

I was dealing with a bad cold and tons of nosebleeds. Had a vessel up my snout cauterized to stop the nosebleeds. It was painful and took forever. Afte that no taste no smell. I have regained all the taste sense, but after 3 years I figure the sense of smell is gone. I have adjusted. I miss flowers and desserts. Could be lots worse...

that was the only solution?

you mean nose bleeds with the cold, or frequent nose bleeds

Had them at least twice a day... Gushers, very messy and embarrasing. I guess the membrane was too thin in my nostril. It was a pain in the butt. I am glad it is fixed, but hated loosing the ability to smell. It was just a weird thing.
